Excellent Desk Fan for the Office – Keeps Me Cool!
This WHATOOK Desk Fan Mini Portable has been an absolute lifesaver in the office, especialy since prefer to be a bit colder than my colleagues! It truly works great for keeping my personal workspace comfortably cool. particularly appreciate the range of speeds it offers, allowing me to adjust the airflow precisely to my liking.While it can get a little noisy at the very highest speeds, I honestly don’t find it distracting at all. In fact, none of my fellow developers who are notoriously picky about noise have even mentioned it, which speaks volumes! It’s more of a gentle hum than an annoying whir. The compact size is perfect for my desk, and the battery life has been impressive, meaning I’m not constantly searching for a plug. It’s robust, reliable, and does exactly what I need it to do. If you’re in an office environment and like to control your own temperature, or just need a powerful yet unobtrusive personal fan, highly recommend this one!

Great little desk fan

Brilliant little fan, I use it during the night whilst I’m sleeping, Quiet enough for me to sleep through on the fans lowest settings, battery life very good on the lowest settings…7hrs plus! Charges up quickly during the day.Compact size, small enough to fit on my bedside table, Has a clear display of battery life & the power level you have selected with the dial -on / off switch.Definitely powerful enough on the higher settings , although I can’t currently vouch for the battery life when on this setting.Very pleased with the item for the money 👍

What a fab little fan! Really powerful, & can set it to what speed you want. Love I can pick it & take it around the house with me. Well worth the money, really pleased with my purchase!

Great small desk top fan
This is a great little desk fan ,for its size it seems more powerful than a full size fan ,with a 100 fan speeds im sure you will find a setting that suits your needs ,plug it in your laptop ,computer and away you go its also got a built in battery and when fully charged, can be taken away ,battery lasts upto about 8hrs ,very impressive for the price

Effective
I’m writing this review after just over a week of use so can’t comment on longevity but it seems solid enough and, so far, I’m very happy with the purchase. I’m actually considering buying another one because I think mine may be commandeered by a family member sooner rather than later.I bought it to take away with me. I ended up using it in my hand (obviously not the intended use) at the airport and on the plane as it was small and light enough to use in that situation. Really easy to turn on and to different speed settings as you just turn a dial and it shows the setting. I had it on overnight, on the bedside table, it was quiet enough to not be disturbing and, I found, for me personally, the lower speed settings are more than adequate in terms of airflow and cooling.The charge held each night and it also works plugged in if needed. I find it a bit finicky to check charge levels when using it (sometimes it shows, sometimes not and I’ve not quite worked out the logic but that’s not a massive problem).

Surprisingly powerful
Brilliant little fan. Portable and easy to use and surprisingly powerful. It’s great on my computer desk whilst I’m working and as it is rechargeable, I can take it to the kitchen to keep me cool whilst washing up without needing to plug it in. It doesn’t replace large floor-standing fans in the extreme heat, but it’s a great addition at helping me keep cool

Inaccurate battery percentage
I brought the fan as it advertised 24hrs on the lowest setting – I have 12hr shifts and needed it to last at least 2 shifts without me having to constantly keep recharging. The lowest setting was more than adequate but during my test, the battery was draining about 10% every hour. At 5.5hrs I was left with 54% battery which meant it would only last for about 10hrs at this rate!I was prepared to return it for a refund.Continued to use it through my shift and I left it running through the night and to my surprise, 18.5hrs later and it’s still running with 17% battery left. I’m going to see if it reaches 24hrs and I will keep the fan as it did what it advertised.Pros:Incremental fan control from 1-100 so you can select the speed you need.Adequate enough on 1 for most the day, during hotter times 25 was more than enough.Very quiet on lower setting, was used all night without any noise disturbance.The stand turns into a useful hook so can be hung making it ideal for various situations/positions.Small but mighty so didn’t take up much room on my work station.Cons:Would have preferred the battery % shown permanently rather than only for a few seconds if the dial is changed. Power left is more important than the power level.At night the led display is very bright. Would be nice for an option to turn off display.Battery % is inaccurate which almost had me return the item for falsely claiming a 24hr battery life on lowest setting – it means I have to ‘trust’ there is enough charge now to get me through two 12hr shifts rather than knowing from the battery display.Pretty expensive for what it is, I managed to get it on offer but at full price, not worth £21!I would have liked a removable grill for cleaning purposes.Nice selection of colours, I only wish all of them had been reduced at the time of buying as the white one would have been much better for my work area.

Great fan – just not as quiet as hoped
I like the variable speed control, runs off battery and the LED panel, but its just not as quiet as I hoped. I was thinking about returning it as I wanted a very quiet fan for my office desk, but decided to keep it at home and use it in the front room and sits nicely on the arm of my recliner 🙂

Excellent.
Astonishing quality and value for money. Functions well on lowest power setting is comfortable for sleeping. Battery life is long, full power gives quite a stunningly powerful flow effect for the fan’s size. Perfect for cooling during the heatwaves we’re experiencing. Easily adjustable with a single dial-switch, no assembly required. I’m told it’s robust, but have no intention of testing that.
